Last week there was a report that revealed streaming giant, Netflix would be raising the prices of their subscription fees.
The price hikes will be applied to all existing members over the next few months. New members will be charged the new price immediately. Its $8 plan will go up to $9 and it’s $14 plan will go up to $16 a month.“
It’s being so the streaming service can invest more money into creating original content.
Now, Hulu, the other big streaming service is reportedly reducing their subscription prices. Variety reports that the official price of the ad-supported service is dropping by $2 a month, to $5.99, down from $7.99 a month. Meanwhile, starting next month, Hulu With Live TV will go up by $5, from $39.99 a month to $44.99 a month.
The pricing changes will take effect in late February.
